Assistant Store Manager

What you will do.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you are responsible for one of two specializations: Process & Goods Processing or Customer & Commerce.
Lead the Process & Goods Processing department to ensure a stocked and clean store.
Lead colleagues in the fresh and checkout departments to follow the commercial plan and meet customer wishes.
Work with the team to achieve goals and celebrate successes together.
Stimulate colleagues and give them the freedom to think about their department and the store.
Together, develop the best ideas and find solutions for every challenge.

Profile

Develops team members and promotes collaboration, creating a pleasant working atmosphere.
Ensures the branch achieves set goals regarding turnover, shrinkage, and customer and employee satisfaction.
Empowers colleagues and utilizes their talents, for example, by involving a colleague in the store's social media.
Is an entrepreneur who sees opportunities and seizes them, such as adding local products or contributing to neighborhood initiatives.
Actively participates in operational tasks and supports the team.
Responsible for optimal team staffing, including development talks and recruiting new colleagues.
Holds a HBO diploma (higher professional education). An MBO 4 or HAVO diploma may require an assessment as part of the procedure.
Is a reliable and inspiring leader who, through empathy and commitment, ensures everyone feels at home.
Is customer-oriented, decisive, and authentic, and knows how to translate their vision into concrete steps to be taken with the team.
Has experience in leading large groups of colleagues.
