Purchasing Manager

As a Purchasing Manager, you are responsible for the further development and implementation of the purchasing policy within a healthcare organization.

• You lead a purchasing team of 4 people and act as a business partner for the organization.
• Strategic focus and vision in a dynamic, changing environment are paramount.

What you will do.

• Responsible for implementing an optimal purchasing policy, monitoring the quality and lead time of delivered services, and including the aspect of sustainability.
• Supports buyers and also takes on purchasing projects, in accordance with public procurement legislation, correcting and adjusting where necessary.
• Develops and maintains professional relationships, and negotiates purchasing conditions and framework agreements.
• Thoroughly analyzes data related to different product categories to identify savings opportunities and work towards consolidating product groups with a limited number of suppliers.
• Contributes to achieving purchasing objectives and increasing cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborates multidisciplinarily with various departments to determine user needs and requirements. For this, you also conduct necessary market research and monitor new market developments to provide solutions for these needs.
• Helps with the further development and optimization of the SAP ERP package and works closely with the entire financial department.
• As the head of the department, you coach and motivate your team members. You guide them in their professional development and ensure that objectives are clear and supported.
• Finally, based on your expertise, you take on a role in various working groups, both internal and external.
