(Departmental) Psychologist child and adolescent psychiatry

The treatment vision is based on the uniqueness of the child and their parents/caregivers, integrating developmental psychology, psychodynamic/analytic, and systemic/contextual approaches, rooted in a biopsychosocial psychiatric concept.
What you will do. As a department psychologist:
- Responsible for the daily operations of a living group, together with the responsible living group leader and physician.
- Contribute to vision development and help elaborate proposals.
- Support and coach employees as needed.
- Ensure internal coordination within the team.
- Chair multidisciplinary consultations (MDO) and team meetings.
- Co-shape the therapeutic climate.
As a psychologist:
- Organize care around young people, supported by a broader multidisciplinary team.
- Build a close and constructive relationship with young people, their context, and relevant actors.
- Shape the personal trajectory of the young person, focusing on the individual's process and goals and their family.
- Focus on strengths and resilience within the young people's system and seek further support/help within the broader environment, in collaboration with external services.
- Conduct outpatient consultations: transition talks, introductory talks, and aftercare trajectories.
What they ask
- University degree as a clinical psychologist.
- Completed or currently pursuing a four-year psychotherapy training.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in mental healthcare, preferably with children and/or young people with psychological problems and their context.
- Knowledge of the mental healthcare sector and the social support network.
- Knowledge of recovery-oriented care and developmental psychology.
- Ability to develop a long-term vision.
- Personality traits: bridge-builder, flexible, coaching skills, out-of-the-box thinker, patient, open-minded, able to maintain overview and coordinate, without taking responsibility away from the young person and their context. Capable of both teamwork and independent work, and daring to make decisions. Strong in planning and organizing.
