Project Engineer Electricity Pylon Calculation

• Responsible for the study and design of new electricity pylons and modifications to existing structures.
• Perform specialized calculations and prepare and monitor the study planning, taking into account client requirements and requests.
• Support designers in developing calculation models, both for internal employees and external design agencies.
• Participate in preparing tender documents and the purchasing process.
• Responsible for delivering the produced pylons and structures to the manufacturer or in the test environment.
• Provide technical support for on-site execution and work preparation, in collaboration with project leaders, suppliers, contractors, and clients.
• Monitor quality management, perform controls, and report.
• Optimize and implement calculation rules in the software tools used.

• Master Engineer (mechanical or civil engineering), architect, or master in physics, or equivalent by experience.
• Affinity with detailed technical studies.
• Knowledge and experience in designing steel structures.
• Proficient with engineering software, 3D design, and finite element software.
• Familiar with relevant standards (e.g., Eurocodes).
• Strong sense of responsibility and good organizational skills.
• Ability to function well in a team.
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French and a solid oral and written knowledge of English.

Preferences.

• Experience with an expertise and/or engineering activity.
• Knowledge of MS Project, VB.NET, VBA-scripting, and Fortran.
