GZ psychologist Child & Youth

Working with children aged approximately 4 to 12 years with complex psychiatric issues.

• Focus on short-term observation and treatment of children with, among others, ASD, ADHD, trauma, and attachment problems.
• Other groups focus on children aged 3 to 9 and 9 to 12 years, primarily dealing with trauma and attachment issues, where treatment trajectories can be longer.
• Groups consist of a maximum of eight children, and 24-hour care is provided.
• Varied work: observing, investigating, treating, consulting, and continuously looking at the bigger picture.

What you will do.

• Lead therapist and substantively involved in the entire treatment process.
• Conduct intakes and diagnostic research.
• Establish the treatment plan together with the team.
• Perform cognitive treatments yourself.
• Work closely with parents, colleagues, and other involved professionals around the child.
• Contribute to the treatment philosophy and working methods of the department.
• Provide substantive input on policy, treatment methodologies, and new developments.
• Keep up with developments in psychological interventions.
• Work multidisciplinarily on complex cases.
• Supervise a psychologist in training and act as a work supervisor.
