Are you an experienced Azure Data Engineer who enjoys building scalable data platforms and transforming complex business requirements into robust technical solutions? For a technology company, we are looking for a Data Engineer to strengthen an established Data & Analytics team. You will work in a modern Microsoft Azure environment and contribute to the development and evolution of enterprise-level data platforms.
What you do
- Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Build data solutions using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
- Develop data transformations using Python and PySpark
- Work with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Azure Synapse
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional and technical data solutions
- Design and optimise data models for analytical use cases
- Monitor production pipelines, investigate issues and improve performance and reliability
- Implement automated testing and contribute to data quality initiatives
- Work with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code within an Azure/DevOps environment
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Analysts and business stakeholders
- Contribute to topics such as metadata management, data lineage and data quality
