Content Creator
As a social media editor and content creator, you are responsible for the online content of the leadership of a government organization on Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. You ensure that the channels are current, recognizable, and relevant, contributing to trust in the organization. You are both a creator and a director, developing content, identifying opportunities in current events, and advising on the use of social media. The strategic direction 'Standing Strong in These Times' serves as an important guideline.
What You Will Do.
- Develop, create, and publish content for the leadership's social media channels, with an emphasis on Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Write texts and create photos, videos, and other visual content that align with the message and target audience.
- Be present at work visits, meetings, and events to capture key moments.
- Monitor daily societal developments, news, and relevant stakeholders, identifying opportunities, risks, and trends.
- Proactively advise on the use of social media, content planning, and the positioning of the leadership.
- Maintain contact with communication advisors and spokespersons to ensure online communication aligns with current events and the communication strategy.
- Analyze content performance and translate insights into improvements.
You will work intensively with the central communication department and leverage the power of corporate social media channels to ensure a recognizable and cohesive online presence.
Profile
You are an enthusiastic and creative content professional with at least two years of demonstrable experience in content creation and an excellent sense for news, visuals, and timing. You know how to find and tell stories in a way that appeals to people. At the same time, you understand the dynamics of a political-administrative organization and instinctively know what is appropriate and when.
- Proficient in filming with your phone, editing audio, subtitling, and editing.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Curious, proactive, and dares to bring forward ideas.
- Thinks ahead, advises based on knowledge, and finds the right balance between visibility, diligence, and administrative sensitivity.
- Works independently but naturally seeks collaboration with communication advisors, spokespersons, and colleagues from the central communication department.
- Environmentally aware, has a feel for societal and political relations, and understands how social media can contribute to connection, transparency and trust.
- Reliable and discreet, handles information, interests, and considerations carefully.
- Remains sharp, diligent, and quality-oriented, even under time pressure.

- HBO (bachelor) working and thinking level, with a diploma in communication, journalism, or similar.
- Perfect command of the Dutch language.
