Residential Counselor KWE
An organization is looking for residential counselors to help young refugees build a new life and create a pleasant place where they can participate in society. These young people, aged between 16 and 21, have arrived in the Netherlands without parents or family. What you will do.
- Ensure a pleasant atmosphere and good guidance at the residential locations.
- Help young people, with a positive attitude, to build their lives in the Netherlands, in collaboration with a self-organizing team.
- Provide ambulatory guidance to young people who are living independently for the first time and need support, from their own living space.
- Turn challenges into opportunities.
What they ask
- You speak and write Dutch.
- A completed MBO4 (secondary vocational education level 4) degree with a pedagogical background.
Preferences.
- Proficiency in other languages, such as Dari, Arabic, or Tigrinya, is a valuable asset.
Practical
- A VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct) screening is part of the selection procedure.
- The organization strives for a staff composition that reflects the diversity of the young people and families it guides and treats.
