As a UX Designer, you will lead user-centered design activities across complex digital products, translating user needs and business goals into intuitive, high-quality experiences. You will act as a UX advocate within cross-functional and agile teams, balancing research, design execution, and UX consulting.
What you do
User Research.
- Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, including contextual inquiry and task analysis
- Translate research insights into clear UX artifacts such as personas, user journeys, and user stories
- Validate concepts and solutions through moderated and unmoderated usability testing (local and remote)
- Define UX metrics and analyze data to measure and report experience quality and impact
Interaction Design.
- Design wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes from concept to delivery
- Apply and evolve design systems and UX standards where needed
- Ensure design solutions align with functional, technical, and business stakeholders
UX Consulting & Leadership.
- Define and tailor user-centered design approaches based on project constraints (budget, timelines, team maturity)
- Embed UX best practices within agile teams and safeguard UX quality under changing conditions
- Proactively share UX challenges, learnings, and best practices with the wider UX community
What they ask Required Qualifications.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, HCI, Information Science, Psychology, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional UX experience (post-degree)
- Strong ability to work independently and deliver on agreed goals
- Proven collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for UX value
- Comfortable working under time pressure and adapting to change
- Fluent in English (Dutch proficiency is a plus)
Preferred Qualifications.
- Experience designing complex B2B or enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum / DevOps environments
- Skilled in facilitating design thinking, co-creation, and participatory design workshops
- Visual design experience is a plus
- Proficient with Figma and Miro
