Quality Assurance Officer
Do you have a passion for quality, food safety, and compliance? Are you energized by translating quality standards into daily practice on the production floor? Then you might be the QA Officer a food company is looking for for a production site. As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will be part of a dynamic quality department. You will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and play an important role in monitoring and strengthening the quality and food safety culture on the site.
This is initially a temporary position, with the possibility of permanent employment afterwards.
What you will do. As a QA Officer, you combine administrative accuracy with a strong presence on the work floor. You work closely with various stakeholders to ensure quality and food safety daily. Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing, supporting, and following up on various audits (internal, external, GMP...).
- Identifying, following up, and verifying improvement actions and deviations from applicable standards and legislation.
- Supporting quality initiatives on the work floor and guiding stakeholders on quality issues.
- Strengthening the quality culture through quality contacts, newsletters, training, coaching, and awareness initiatives.
- Coordinating pest control and Food Defense on the site.
- Analyzing quality and food safety data, performing risk analyses, and preparing reports.
- Managing, implementing, and harmonizing the quality documentation system (AMS).
Profile
For this position, an organization is looking for a candidate who enjoys taking responsibility and feels at home in an environment where quality and food safety are central.
- You have obtained a bachelor's degree in nutrition or dietetics, agro- and biotechnology, food technology, or a similar field.
- You preferably have about three years of experience in a quality role within the food industry.
- You have a strong affinity with quality systems, food safety, and production environments.
- You work accurately, structured, and have an eye for detail.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.
- You dare to address people, are stress-resistant, and maintain an overview when priorities shift.
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office.
