Public Space Implementation Coordinator

Thanks to you, policy, projects, and implementation are connected. You guide the operational activities of the Public Space department, coach and inspire your team, and together ensure that plans are translated into visible results on the ground. The team combines project work with strong daily operational activities, where project staff, field experts, and technical services collaborate on a high-quality public space.
What you do
- You lead the team coaches of the technical services and coach the field experts in their work.
- You organize the operational activities and monitor the quality, planning, and continuity of service delivery.
- You bridge the gap between policy, projects, and implementation, translating policy choices to the work floor and bringing signals from the field back to the organization.
- You monitor the functioning of the technical services and stimulate collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
- You safeguard operational objectives, monitor results, and adjust where necessary.
- You work closely with project staff, experts, and external partners to ensure projects and implementation reinforce each other.
- You participate in consultations within a department focused on citizens and the environment and contribute to the realization of the multi-year plan.
- You actively build smooth cooperation and strong teamwork within the Public Space department.

- Affinity with public space and interest in themes such as roads, greenery, mobility, and technical service provision.
- Experience in managing and coaching employees or teams (leadership, coordination, or project work).
- Strong in planning and organizing, and maintaining an overview in a dynamic operational context.
- Ability to translate policy and projects into concrete implementation on the ground.
- Clear communication, bringing people together, and fostering collaboration between teams.
- Results-oriented work, taking responsibility, and daring to make decisions.
- Strong focus on improvement and efficiency in operations and collaboration.
- Convinced of the principles of innovative work organization.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (e.g., leadership, coordination, project work, or coaching).
- A master's degree or a final diploma of long-type higher education or equivalent, OR successful completion of a capacity test.
