What you do
- Operationally responsible for the daily management in the warehouse.
- Ensure smooth processes for inbound, storage, and outbound cargo.
- Coach and motivate warehouse employees.
- Point of contact for internal and external customers regarding operational challenges and process progress.
- Oversee correct and safe use of equipment and materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare damage reports for cargo and materials.
- Provide daily accurate reporting on service progress, personnel deployment, materials, and special incidents.
- Monitor compliance with agreements regarding work instructions, leave, and working and rest hours.
- Implement personnel policy, including guiding staff through sick leave, conducting performance and appraisal interviews, and coaching.
- Propose improvements for efficient operations.
Profile
- MBO+ level of working and thinking (equivalent to a higher vocational education level).
- Several years of experience in a similar role and work environment.
- Experience in leadership.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Knowledge of the English language is a plus.
