You will temporarily make a real difference for two clients with complex support needs. You provide personal guidance, proximity, and structure to help them maintain control over their day and environment.
What you do
- You provide one-on-one guidance, proximity, and structure.
- You ensure a predictable daily routine with clear agreements and fixed moments.
- You help clients cope with stimuli, tension, and changes.
- You provide guidance during verbal and physical aggression and know how to act professionally when tension escalates.
- You encourage and support personal care and daily activities.
- You can rely on nearby colleagues and work closely with other involved disciplines.
- You work at two locations of a care organization, providing individual guidance.
- One client has a low emotional development level and is quickly overstimulated or overwhelmed, potentially exhibiting avoidance/flight behavior and verbal/physical aggression, exacerbated by substance use.
- The other client temporarily lives in their own apartment and needs activation. Boundaries and environmental stimuli can lead to verbal or physical aggression. He also has diabetes and requires guidance with personal care, including the use of a medical system for blood sugar measurement.
Profile
- You have a care-related MBO 4 or HBO diploma.
- You have an affinity for intensive one-on-one guidance and complex support questions.
- You are patient, empathetic, and decisive.
- You offer calm and clarity, are firm, and can professionally handle verbal and physical aggression.
- You work consistently according to agreements and can simultaneously adapt well to what a client needs.
- You can work independently and actively seek collaboration with colleagues.
- You have knowledge of diabetes and associated protocols or are willing to delve into this.
Practical
- You work varying shifts between 07:00 and 22:00.
- Shifts include morning shifts (07:00 - 15:00) and afternoon/evening shifts (14:45 - 22:00).
- A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required.
- Reference checks are part of the procedure.
