Guide complex utility projects from quotation to delivery in a 24-hour regulated environment.
- Manage work preparation and planning, monitor budgets, and ensure safety management.
- Ensure projects are technically sound, stay within agreed costs, and are executed safely, with experience in mechanical installations in utility buildings.
- Daily liaison with execution, suppliers, and internal departments for a controlled project process.
- You will work for a large technical service provider in utility installation technology. This organization accelerates the energy, digital, and industrial transition with services in mechanical installations, maintenance, and project-based installation technology. Within the Services department, you will work closely with various teams focused on project work and maintenance for diverse clients. Much attention is paid to safety, specialization, and growth within various technical disciplines.
What you do
- Manage work preparation and planning for mechanical utility projects.
- Delegate tasks within the project team to ensure progress and quality.
- Prepare (concept) quotations based on provided calculations.
- Request quotations from suppliers and relevant internal departments.
- Assist with and perform management safety inspections at project locations.
- Guide the complete process of complex projects, from construction meetings to delivery.
- Collaborate with various teams within a 24-hour regulated environment at the client.
- Ensure safe and efficient execution of projects in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
What they ask
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) in mechanical engineering or equivalent, with in-depth knowledge of mechanical installations.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in a utility environment or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience in guiding complex projects or equivalent.
- Experience with budget monitoring and safety management or equivalent.
- Good communication skills and leadership qualities, suitable for a project management role.
- Strong analytical thinking for assessing technical and financial issues.
- Team spirit and stress resistance, even in a 24-hour regulated environment.
- Sufficient knowledge of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
