For a large international industrial organization, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Service Specialist. In this role, you combine financial administration with supplier contact, problem-solving, and process improvement. You will join a large financial department responsible for the accounts payable administration of multiple entities. Approximately 260,000 supplier invoices are processed annually.
What you do
As an Accounts Payable Service Specialist, you are the point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders. You ensure that questions about invoices and payments are resolved and that the Purchase-to-Pay process runs smoothly. You take the initiative to investigate discrepancies, address colleagues, and improve processes.
- Answering questions from suppliers about invoices and payments.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies within the Purchase-to-Pay process.
- Liaising with Finance, Procurement, and other internal stakeholders.
- Controlling, managing, and processing supplier data (Vendor Master Data).
- Analyzing recurring problems and preparing reports.
- Identifying areas for improvement and contributing to more efficient work processes.
What they ask
- A completed financial MBO-4 education.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or creditor administration, preferably within a large organization.
- Knowledge of the Purchase-to-Pay process.
- Experience with SAP FI/MM and Microsoft Office.
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
- A proactive, analytical, and accurate work attitude.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems independently.
You are assertive, dare to address suppliers and colleagues, and do not wait when something goes wrong.
