Due to long-term illness, an Interim Maintenance Manager is sought. You will shape Maintenance Management within a department and be responsible for the policy regarding the maintenance and reliability of the installations. You ensure the safe and reliable execution of maintenance and modifications to nuclear installations. You work systematically and in close consultation with other departments. You are responsible for the maintenance budget and the long-term maintenance planning.
You develop KPIs for the Maintenance program.
What you will do.
- Managing all maintenance activities of the various maintenance teams (work preparation, plan of approach, realization, control, reporting, and communication) for the installations
- Ensuring the continuity and safety of the installation
- Leading the Maintenance department responsible for the safe operation and utilization of the installations
- Determining the priority of work for the reliability, availability, and safety of the installations
- Evaluating and optimizing maintenance processes and procedures, with attention to the aging of the installation
- Identifying, formulating, and initiating opportunities for improvement
- Monitoring, managing, and supervising the progress and quality of maintenance work
- Managing technical and financial resources
- Guiding, inspiring, developing, coaching, and evaluating employees
- Stimulating and facilitating the development and sharing of professional knowledge and expertise
Profile
- Reports to the Department Manager and leads work preparation, the E and W team, the manipulator workshop, and housekeeping (approximately 35 employees)
- Is part of the department's management team
- Coaching leadership, a proactive attitude, and excellent social skills
- Decisive, flexible, and clear in reporting (Dutch and English)
- Willing to follow necessary training/courses
What they ask
- Excellent command of Dutch and English
- Completed technical education at a minimum of HBO level (higher professional education)
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrable managerial work experience within a complex organization
- Minimum of 8 years of demonstrable experience with maintenance management within a complex technical and/or industrial environment
Preferences.
- Demonstrable experience in leading a Maintenance department and/or multidisciplinary technical maintenance teams
- Demonstrable experience with maintenance management in a complex technical, industrial, and/or highly regulated environment, where the safety, reliability, and availability of installations are central
- Demonstrable experience with developing, evaluating, and optimizing maintenance processes, maintenance plans, and KPIs focused on the safety, reliability, and availability of installations
