As a Logistics Account Manager, you manage your own portfolio of international clients. You translate commercial and operational agreements into clear instructions for colleagues and chain partners, coordinate transport from order acceptance to invoicing, and actively seek opportunities to expand and optimize the business.
You are the central point of contact who directs all parties – entrepreneurial, communicative, and proactive.
What you will do.
- You manage your own portfolio of (international) clients and are their fixed point of contact.
- Together with colleagues, you offer creative transport solutions to expand and optimize existing business.
- Operational execution and associated administration are your responsibility – from order acceptance to invoicing.
- You interact daily with clients, internal departments, shipping companies, railway companies, cleaning stations, and other chain partners.
- You manage and monitor the entire process, ensuring every transport proceeds to the client's satisfaction.

- MBO/HBO level in logistics or transport, or several years of relevant work experience.
- Commercial and entrepreneurial: you see opportunities to grow clients and business.
- Strong communication skills and proactive, taking independent responsibility for your own clients.
- Customer-oriented, structured, problem-solving, and analytical work, managing both daily operations and improvement projects effectively.
- Excellent communication in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
