Social Worker Central Access

Contribute to the safety of people dealing with domestic violence.
- Work in a professional and dynamic environment.
- No personal caseload, with intensive and short-term client contacts.
- The department is available from 08:00 to 23:00, including evenings and weekends.
What you do
- First point of contact for requests for help from various regions.
- Assess requests for help, organize appropriate shelter, and provide support when quick action is necessary.
- Contact with clients, victims, perpetrators, stakeholders, and professionals such as police, child protection services, general practitioners, and other chain partners.
- Activities include:
- Assessing and screening registrations and requests for help.
- Estimating risks, urgency, and necessary support.
- Organizing appropriate placement in women's or men's shelters, internally and externally.
- Coordinating with chain partners and other involved organizations.
- Screening and guiding clients on an emergency bed.
- Providing support to clients in shelters outside office hours.
- Contributing to peace and safety in and around a shelter location.
- Carefully registering and transferring requests for help and appointments.
- Analyze the situation, provide direct support where necessary, and ensure appropriate transfer.

What they ask
- An HBO diploma in care and welfare (e.g., Social Work, MWD, SPW, Applied Psychology, or similar).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and knowledge of the social map and experience with chain partners.
- An SKJ registration or the possibility to meet and/or obtain it.
- Affinity with and knowledge of the target group.
- Good command of Dutch and English; an additional language is a plus.
- Willingness to work in varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Practical
- Employment conditions and salary according to the CAO Sociaal Werk, salary scale 8, from € 3,397 to max. € 5,157 based on 36 hours.
