An international service organization is seeking a freelance E-learning Developer to design and technically build one English-language e-learning module on leadership. The module is estimated to be 30 minutes long and will be offered worldwide to approximately 3,000 managers. The organization's leadership competencies form the content basis. The developer will translate these into a modern, professionally designed, and interactive learning experience.
Direct collaboration will take place with the internal client, taking responsibility for didactic development, visual design, and technical development.
What you do
- Discuss available content and develop a clear learning structure and a storyboard.
- Translate leadership competencies into understandable explanations, exercises, and relevant interactive components.
- Design a visually polished and user-friendly module for an international target audience.
- Independently build the complete e-learning using a professional authoring tool.
- Coordinate with the client and process feedback.
- Deliver the finished English-language module in SCORM format, for deployment via the learning platform.
- Propose a suitable authoring tool that you thoroughly master, for example, Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
What they ask
- Demonstrable experience in designing AND technically building e-learnings, from content input to a finished module.
- Thorough mastery of the proposed authoring tool, with the ability to independently design, build, and publish from the start.
- Practical experience with instructional design, including structuring content and translating it into a logical learning path with targeted exercises and interactions.
- Experience with SCORM publication and delivering modules for use in a learning platform.
- Combination of technical skills with a strong sense of design and user-friendliness, demonstrable through previous achievements.
- Ability to independently organize a short project, clarify content questions in a timely manner, and process feedback within the agreed schedule.
- Professional knowledge of Dutch and English for content alignment and development of the English-language module.
- Flexibility to travel to a specific location for consultation and collaboration, where the internal client works.
