Project Leader Area Development

You will work on engaging and varied assignments within a municipal organization.

You will realize (inner-)urban area transformations for housing, business, and mobility, among other things.
You will lead projects ranging from inner-city housing developments to area developments around public transport hubs, in various phases of the area development process.
You will manage project teams and work with them towards important project results.
You will translate political-administrative principles into projects and (partial) results.
You will monitor the progress, budget, quality, and information provision of projects.
Communication and participation with residents and other stakeholders are also important parts of this role.
You will share your knowledge and experience with less experienced colleagues and coach them on content.
Examples of projects include more complex area developments (housing or business parks), infrastructure improvement in collaboration with a provincial authority, and the preparation for the realization of a new public transport hub and the surrounding area.

Demonstrable work experience as a project leader with complex inner-city area developments within a municipal organization.
Demonstrable work experience with collaboration processes where the interests of diverse stakeholders are taken into account.

Preferences.

Demonstrably completed education at minimum HBO bachelor level.
Demonstrable work experience as a project leader with at least 2 complex area developments, including spatial procedures and administrative decision-making.
Demonstrable work experience with collaboration in infrastructure developments.
Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience with environmental participation and communication processes.
Minimum 10 years of demonstrable work experience as a project leader with complex inner-city developments.

A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) will be requested.
A laptop is provided by the organization; a mobile phone must be brought by the candidate.
Professional liability for €250,000 per claim is required.
