For an organization, we are looking for a Technical Warehouse Manager to develop and optimize technical warehouse management across multiple locations. You will lead the startup of a new warehouse and translate processes and working methods into a uniform approach for other branches.
What you do
- Warehouse startup: develop and implement layout, warehouse locations, material flows, item registration, and work procedures
- Standardization: introduce uniform processes for receipt, storage, issuance, returns, and inventory across all sites
- Inventory strategy: determine which critical spare parts should be locally available and which inventory can be shared between sites
- MRP and supply: optimize minimum and maximum stocks, safety stocks, reorder points, and order quantities, considering consumption, delivery times
- Stock optimization: address stock shortages, overstock, duplicate items, and obsolete inventory
- Item management and systems: structure item coding, technical descriptions, and master data, and improve the quality of ERP/MRP data
- Process improvement and KPIs: drive inventory reliability, availability, inventory value, and efficient warehouse operations
- Site coordination: collaborate with maintenance, purchasing, and local warehouse managers and ensure new working methods are applied
What they ask
- Experience with technical warehouse management, spare parts, and inventory optimization in an industrial environment
- Experience with warehouse startup, process standardization, or improvement projects, preferably across multiple sites
- Strong in ERP/MRP, data analysis, and change management
- Combines strategic insight with practical implementation on the shop floor
- Very good knowledge of Dutch
