An organization is working on the energy transition. With a team of approximately 150 colleagues, this organization manages a growing portfolio of sustainable heating and cooling installations for thousands of homes and buildings. This requires professionals who look beyond daily malfunctions and focus on future performance.

What you will do. As an Asset Manager Operations, you are responsible for the performance of your own portfolio of sustainable energy systems. You continuously monitor technical, energetic, and financial performance and ensure that contractual agreements are met. You are actively involved in issues within your portfolio, analyze them, bring the right colleagues together, and work collaboratively towards a solution. You maintain an overview and ensure that actions are taken and followed up.

  • Manage the technical, energetic, and financial performance of your assets.
  • Oversee technical, contractual, and financial risks and ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Analyze deviations, investigate causes, and initiate improvement actions.
  • Provide input for business cases and reinvestment proposals, and substantiate with data and analyses why an asset needs attention sooner or later.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and asset performance and know how to engage colleagues.
  • Build knowledge of your portfolio and thus know where risks arise and which assets require extra attention. If something comes up, you take the initiative, bring the right people together, maintain an overview, and ensure actions are taken.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of new assets to the management phase.
  • Be the point of contact for business clients and homeowner associations (VvE's) for complex issues.

What they ask You understand how sustainable energy systems work, recognize when something deviates, and ask the necessary questions to get to the root of a problem.

  • A completed HBO or WO education, preferably in a technical or business administration direction.
  • Experience in asset management, operations management, or a comparable technical environment.
  • Affinity with sustainable energy systems, mechanical installations, or heat pumps.
  • An analytical perspective: you translate data into insights and concrete actions.
  • Good communication skills: you easily switch between technicians, clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • VCA VOL and GPI certifications, or the willingness to obtain them.
