This role contributes to a safe traffic situation during road works and large events. You ensure a smooth flow of traffic and address road users kindly, acting as the calling card for the organization and its clients.
What you do
- Guide traffic during road closures for excavation work.
- Coordinate groups of traffic controllers at project locations (e.g., at events).
- Act as a bus coordinator at stations, responsible for the timely departure of buses.
- Maintain direct contact with clients.
- Collaborate with a team of colleagues at various locations.
- Report to the project manager or team coordinator.

- Ability to address road users and stand firm.
- Flexibility in working hours (evening, night, and weekend shifts).
- Affinity for outdoor work.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a traffic controller, including 2 years as a coordinator.
- Leadership capabilities.
- Driving license B and own transportation.
- National appointment pass and VCA-VOL certification.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
Practical
- The first month is a probationary period.
- Aggression management training is offered.
- Varied schedule with opportunities to consider preferences for types of work (road works, events, rail disruptions) and travel time.
- Interviews will primarily take place at the office in Zwolle.
