Are you a Technical Project Manager responsible for the development and introduction of complex high-tech systems? An international organization in the high-tech manufacturing industry is looking for an independent Project Manager to successfully manage technical development and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. You will work on high-quality systems and modules for, among others, the medical, analytical, and semiconductor industries.
In this role, you combine technical insight with project management and are responsible for the successful realization of projects, from development to introduction into production.
What you will do.
- You will lead multidisciplinary project teams consisting of engineers, planners, buyers, technicians, and technical product managers.
- You will be the primary point of contact for clients and translate technical client questions into concrete project plans, objectives, and realistic schedules.
- You will monitor the progress, quality, planning, and budgets of complex development and introduction projects.
- You will identify technical and organizational project risks, take appropriate control measures, and adjust in a timely manner where necessary.
- You will actively contribute to technical issues, support the team in decision-making, and ensure a smooth transition from product development to production.
Profile
- You have a completed university degree (WO) in a technical field, for example, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering and Management.
- You have several years of experience as a Technical Project Manager within high-tech machine building, system development, or a comparable technical environment.
- You have experience with development trajectories and/or New Product Introduction (NPI) of complex technical systems.
- You are technically strong, communicate easily with different disciplines, and know how to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams.
- You have excellent command of both Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience within the medical industry and/or an IPMA C certification is a plus.
