Water affects everything. We face the challenge of concretely shaping safety, sustainability, and groundbreaking water use. A consulting firm helps clients by offering innovative and sustainable solutions for urban water and sewerage issues.
What you will do.
- You are central to the acquisition and execution of various projects in urban water, sewerage, and climate adaptation.
- You are the first point of contact for clients and maintain these client relationships.
- You ensure the proper execution of projects and collaborate with colleagues and clients.
- Your role varies: sometimes you lead a project team with your substantive expertise, other times you work on the content of the projects yourself.
- You work on various water management projects: drafting water management plans, designing and optimizing sewerage, analyzing measurements, policy advising, and providing advice on climate-resilient design.
- You contribute substantively to projects and proposals and coordinate independently with clients.
- You are a sparring partner for other experienced advisors in the department and guide junior advisors.
- You actively contribute to the further development and expansion of the Urban Water & Sewerage field.

- Ability to quickly switch between different projects and handle ad hoc questions.
- Energized by client contact, managing project teams, and guiding young colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills to work both in a team and independently, and to present complex matters clearly to clients.
What they ask
- An HBO or academic level education in Civil Engineering, Water Management, or Environmental Science.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge and experience with water calculations in urban areas (e.g., using InfoWorks ICM or 3Di).
- Preferably, you live near one of the consulting firm's offices and have your own network.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing.
