Technical Advisor Testing and Proving

The advisor is part of the system integration and technology team within an infrastructure project, and part of the commissioning team that ensures the management and realization of an integral, safe, feasible, and demonstrable technical solution within another infrastructure project for a government organization.

What you will do.

  • Responsible for testing & proving and inspecting & verifying projects.
  • Maintaining control over the process and monitoring the planning.
  • Supervising production and its quality.
  • Point of contact for project leaders and external parties.
  • Jointly with contractor(s), draw up a master test plan for testing and proving (T&P) and underlying test plans ((i)FAT, (i)SAT, and SITs) and associated protocols (STDs).
  • Jointly with contractor(s), perform the product risk analysis (PRA) as a basis for the above plans.
  • Jointly with contractor(s), draw up an inspection and verification plan (I&V) and associated forms.
  • Monitor and safeguard the use of the T&P and I&V plans, protocols, and forms by the contractor(s).
  • Prepare and define (or have prepared and defined) the various T&P and I&V phases of the project in collaboration with various stakeholders, including setting up and maintaining a participation matrix, arranging invitations, and reports.
  • Set up and coordinate the T&P and I&V process in relation to other processes, such as SE processes (V&V) and planning and risks.
  • Collaborate with those responsible at the contractor(s) and jointly arrive at an integral T&P and I&V planning/approach.
  • Co-write, review, and advise on T&P and I&V products.
  • Presence during the execution of T&P and, in consultation with contractor(s), during I&V.
  • Deliver the relevant T&P and I&V reports.
  • Support the (final) assessment by stakeholders.
  • Set up and execute the findings procedure.

What they ask

  • Minimum of a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in a technical/organizational direction or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrable work experience in a comparable role.
  • Recent (in the past 5 years) and relevant experience with road tunnel projects.
  • Demonstrable experience with drawing up test plans, methodologies (test and systems engineering), and preparing and managing multiple test types.

Preferences.

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with testing and proving complex infrastructure.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with the renovation of tunnel systems.
