Court Lawyer
As a court lawyer, you are responsible for the administrative and legal preparation, processing, and post-processing of summons and petitions. You check them for correctness, completeness, and timeliness, and characterize the cases. You substantively and ex officio review summons according to laws and regulations and draft (default) judgments and simple decisions. Additionally, you monitor deadlines and case progress and perform various administrative and legal support activities.
You also act as a registrar during sessions. You work closely within an administrative team for civil law, with judges, court lawyers, and administrative staff, and have contact with chain partners.

- HBO (higher professional education) level in a relevant field, such as Law.
- Experience in a legal work environment and the ability to apply legal texts and regulations.
- Excellent command of Dutch, both orally and in writing, to convey legal judgments convincingly and clearly.
- Aptitude for working smoothly with digital systems or the ability to quickly acquire these skills.
- Availability on Wednesdays and Fridays is necessary due to the team roster and session planning.
- Eager to learn and motivated to get to know the organization better and develop as a jurist.
- Good at distinguishing main and side issues and viewing dossiers from multiple angles.
- Decisive, meticulous, structured, and attentive to detail.
- Able to quickly switch between digital and paper cases.
- Capable of acquiring and applying new information.
- Gets energy from teamwork and easily consults with the judge and administration.
