Seeking an ambitious Assistant Production Manager who is energized by leading, improving, and developing people. A visible leader on the shop floor who looks beyond today's planning and actively wants to contribute to tomorrow's production organization.
What you will do.
- You will lead a team of production leaders and team leaders, who in turn are responsible for managing operational production (indirectly approximately 250 employees).
- Together with your team, you will be responsible for achieving planned production within the set timeframe, taking into account quality and food safety standards.
- You will analyze KPIs, production performance, and operational results and translate these into concrete improvement actions on the shop floor.
- You will be visibly present in production and coach managers in their development, ownership, and leadership.
- You will work intensively with department heads such as Technical Service, Quality, Planning, Logistics, and HR to continuously improve operations.
- You will make an active contribution to improvement projects and the further professionalization of the production location.
- You will support the Production Manager in all facets of the operation and assume their responsibilities in their absence.
- You will report to the production manager.
Profile
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Business Administration or Food Technology.
- Several years of leadership experience within a production, food, or packaging environment.
- Strong analytical skills and able to translate KPIs, processes, and production data into concrete improvements.
- Knowledge of quality, food safety, and safety systems within a production environment.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English languages.
