The university childcare centers of a public educational institution have for years provided a safe and pleasant place for the care of children aged 0 to 3 years. The team is looking for reinforcements, and you can be deployed at one of the four locations. These locations each have their own character but share a pleasant working environment, often in green surroundings, with good accessibility by public transport and/or ample parking facilities.
What you do
As a childcare worker, you organize group activities within a living group. You are responsible for the care, development, and guidance of children (0-3 years), in consultation with the team leader and together with a group of childcare workers.
- In consultation with parents, you ensure the upbringing and care of the child.
- With the coaching support of your team leader and pedagogical coach, you stay up-to-date with current educational trends.
- You are the first point of contact for parents.
Profile
- You hold a diploma as a Childcare Worker or a diploma recognized by the competent authority for childcare, or you are willing to undergo further training.
- You are skilled, warm, and sensitive in guiding children.
- You can work independently as well as function smoothly in a team.
- You can devise fun and educational activities that bring a smile to the children's faces.
- You can express yourself fluently in Dutch.
