For a position within the robotics department of a technology company, a Robotics Designer is sought to contribute to the further development of robotics activities. You will be responsible for the design and dimensioning of customized robotic solutions for the client. You will work closely with the sales engineer and support business developers in their client contacts. You will thus play a key role in the entire process, from initial analysis to the elaborated solution.
What you will do.
- Analyze client needs and draw up functional analyses
- Study and design complete robotic solutions
- Create 3D models and simulations
- Define the general technical architecture
- Prepare cost calculations for robotic and electromechanical solutions
- Consult suppliers and partners
- Support business developers during client meetings and present and defend the elaborated solution
- Continuously monitor technological developments within the field
What they ask
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electromechanics, robotics, or equivalent by experience
- First work experience in robotics or an electromechanical environment
- Strong technical design skills and proficient with 3D software such as SolidWorks or Inventor
- Knowledge of standards and legislation applicable to robotic installations
- Fluent communication in Dutch; knowledge of French or English is a plus
