An international campus of a faculty of industrial engineering sciences conducts education, research, and services in an environment where students, lecturers, and researchers can develop, both locally and internationally.
What you do
- You are responsible and co-responsible for chemistry and biochemistry-related courses in the bachelor's industrial sciences and master's industrial sciences - chemistry/biochemistry programs at an international campus of an educational institution.
- You take care of lessons, lab sessions, and projects. These assignments are conducted in both Dutch and English.
- You coach students during their educational projects, master's theses, and two-year projects.
- You guide students, provide them with feedback, and evaluate them, with special attention to guiding international students.
- You are an easily accessible point of contact.
- You work closely with students, researchers, and lecturers on an international campus.
- You are co-responsible for the management of the labs.
- You also play a role in the public relations of the program and participate in various events such as information days and science popularization.
Profile
- You hold a master's degree in industrial sciences (industrial engineer), (bio-)engineering sciences or biomedical sciences, (bio)chemistry, or another related discipline.
- You enjoy teaching and can enthuse students.
- Experience in project work and project-based education with bachelor's and master's students is a plus.
- You can work independently and proactively, have a sense of order, and are accurate and stress-resistant.
- You are analytical, results-oriented, and student-focused.
- You are open to other cultures and worldviews and are motivated to work on an international campus.
- You possess communication skills and are fluent (written and spoken) in Dutch and English, in accordance with the language requirements for higher education.
