As a basic doctor, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in psychiatry. You will join an environment where development, guidance, and variety are central. You will work in a specialized intensive care unit, where people in crisis requiring intensive care are admitted. The guiding principle is to apply coercion and compulsion as little as possible. This involves patients with acute psychiatric disorders and/or personality/mood problems.
What you do
As an ANIOS, you are an important link in the treatment and guidance of clients. You work closely with psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, and other therapists. Your tasks include:
- Drawing up, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans
- Conducting treatment discussions with clients and their relatives
- Monitoring the physical health of clients and treating somatic problems
- Visiting and guiding clients throughout their treatment process
- Multidisciplinary consultation with colleagues and therapists
- Participating in on-call services, with support from experienced psychiatrists and general practitioners
Profile
You are an enthusiastic and curious basic doctor who wants to gain experience in psychiatry. You can easily connect with clients and their relatives, are eager to learn, and are resilient. You possess:
- A completed medical degree
- A valid BIG registration
- An AGB code
- Interest and curiosity in psychiatry
