A growing organization is looking for driven, reliable subcontractors for the professional execution of roof carpentry and roofing works on pitched roofs. A continuous flow of challenging renovation and new construction projects is provided.
What you will do.
- Professional installation and repair of roof carpentry (trusses, purlins, rafters, underlays, battens and counter-battens).
- Correct and airtight installation of thermal roof insulation.
- Covering pitched roofs with clay and concrete tiles, slates or alternative coverings.
- Execution of copper, lead and zinc works (hanging gutters, box gutters, valleys and eaves gutters).
- Installation of roof windows (Velux) and facade/overhang cladding.
Profile
- 3 to 5 years of demonstrable experience as an all-round roofer/carpenter on pitched roofs.
- Thorough knowledge of modern roof insulation techniques and building junctions.
- Self-employed status (in order with social security, VAT and withholding tax).
- In possession of a valid VCA certificate and a valid liability insurance (construction).
- Own professional tools, fall protection and delivery van.
- Quality-oriented, flexible in planning and clearly communicative.
What they ask
- At least 3 to 5 years of demonstrable experience as an all-round roofer.
- Thorough material and craftsmanship knowledge of both pitched and flat roof constructions.
- Eye for detail: you deliver clean, waterproof and aesthetically high-quality work.
- Safety: in possession of a valid VCA certificate (or willing to obtain it immediately).
- Driving license: minimum driving license B.
Preferences.
- Driving license BE is a strong asset.

- Stable planning with approved construction sites in a manageable region.
- Fast and punctual payment of invoices according to transparent agreements (hourly or meter prices).
- Smooth work preparation and punctual delivery of materials on site.
