Crucial role in the management and improvement of applications essential for the tasks and operations of a government organization.
- Focus on ensuring the quality and availability of 24/7 applications, linked to various systems.
- Working within a large functional management organization, with an agile approach.
- Specific focus on Business Intelligence.
What you will do.
- Thoroughly investigate processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Formulate and implement proposals for these improvements in close collaboration with users, developers, and test managers.
- Act as the connecting link between technology and end-users.
- Resolve user questions and requests.
- Carefully document applications for various purposes, such as user instructions and training material.
- Share knowledge and expertise by facilitating training sessions and providing information on new functionalities within the applications.
- As an information expert, continuously stay informed of the latest developments in the field.
- Participate in expert groups and working groups to share knowledge and contribute to the further improvement of the organization in the field of information management and technology.
Profile
- HBO (bachelor) working and thinking level, preferably in ICT or Business Administration or similar.
- Experience in functional management or information management.
- Up-to-date ICT knowledge through additional training in testing, data management, business intelligence, or service management.
- Completed the functional management course (business information management) or willing to follow it.
- Knowledge of BISL.
- Demonstrable experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Broad conceptual knowledge of ICT solutions in general.
- Critical and analytical view of existing processes.
- Strong in analyzing problems and driven by process improvement.
- Good listening skills to translate user wishes into functional requirements.
- Persuasive power and communication skills.
- Eager to learn and an eye for the organization.
- Independent and collaborative.
- Flexible and persistent, even during escalations outside office hours.
