As a Dutch (NT2) teacher, you help MBO students who need that extra support to strengthen their Dutch language skills. You teach motivated students from diverse backgrounds, many of whom have an NT2 background. With your guidance, you increase their self-confidence and their chances of obtaining a diploma. You work together with students, colleagues, and management to promote equal opportunities in education within an educational institution.
What you do
- You provide Dutch/NT2 lessons to MBO students who need extra language support.
- You align your lessons with what students learn in their own education for the Dutch subject.
- You conduct intake and progress interviews and map out language development together with the student.
- You differentiate your lessons and offer tailor-made support to students from various educational programs, levels, and backgrounds.
- You work closely with the Language Support project leader and maintain contact with teachers from the students' programs where necessary.

- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken.
- Second-degree teaching qualification in Dutch.
- Experience in teaching Dutch.
- Ability to differentiate well and adapt to different language levels.

- Experience with NT2.
