Guiding young people (13-18 years old) who need structure and regularity.
- Providing 24/7 support to promote independent living.
- Regularly conducting mentoring interviews with young people.
- Maintaining contact with external organizations and aid workers, such as the guardian, school, and doctor.
- Ensuring a safe and livable residential environment.
- Being a visible point of contact for young people.
Profile
- Education: Relevant HBO or WO diploma (Social Work, MWD, SPH, CMV, Teacher Training, Pedagogy, Psychology, or another diploma within the Social Sciences).
- Possibility to obtain professional registration within two years.
- Work experience: Preferably in youth care, mental health care, a care institution, and/or welfare work.
- Personality: Strong, empathetic without losing professional distance, and clear in setting boundaries.
- Flexibility: Available for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts (night shifts are wake-up shifts). This is a strict requirement.
- Collaboration: Always working with at least one other colleague.
- A relevant MBO education combined with professional registration is also welcome.
Practical
- Working at a youth reception center.
- A team consists of 15 to 40 employees, including youth workers, residential supervisors, and behavioral experts.
- A pre-employment screening will be conducted upon an offer of employment. The screening will include at least the following components: Certificate of Conduct (VOG) application, diploma and certificate verification, and identity verification.
