Facility Coordinator

As a facility coordinator, you ensure that the childcare locations function optimally and meet all quality and safety requirements. You are the fixed point of contact for all facility matters in your region and daily coordinate the maintenance, furnishing, and management of the locations. You handle reports and user requests, plan and monitor maintenance work, functionally manage suppliers and the technical service, and ensure that permits and legal obligations are in order.

Additionally, you maintain contacts with suppliers, request quotes, and advise managers on the best solutions. With your eye for quality, you identify areas for improvement and contribute to a smooth, efficient, and hospitable facility service.

• Be the first point of contact for all facility questions, reports, and malfunctions in your region.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance and repair work.
• Functionally manage the activities of the technical service and external suppliers.
• Apply for permits and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Maintain contact with suppliers, request and compare quotes.
• Advise managers on facility issues.
• Identify improvement opportunities and discuss them with the responsible manager.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining the facility information system.

• Possess HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, preferably in facility management.
• Have experience with facility processes and management information systems.
• Can plan, organize well, and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Are customer-oriented and flexible, with strong communication skills.
• Work independently, but also enjoy collaborating with colleagues and external parties.
• Possess a driver's license and a car.
