Quality Manager

This role is for a quality and food professional who is actively involved on the shop floor and contributes to the structure of tomorrow. You enjoy the dynamic of two locations, short communication lines, and direct impact. It involves shaping a strong quality policy and guiding practical implementation on the work floor.

A growing B2B supplier of flavorful and functional food ingredients, part of an international group, has recently opened a brand-new production site next to its main location. As a result, quality and operational processes are at a challenging turning point.

What you will do.

• Ensure, streamline, and increase quality maturity across two sites.
• Elevate the quality system (IFS, BRC, Halal, GMP+ and others) to the next level and bring structure and quality awareness to every department, from R&D to operations.
• Be actively present on the new production site for audits, coaching of operators, and active QC controls.
• Conduct thorough risk analyses on international suppliers, raw materials, and transport.
• Provide substantive answers to complex recipe and specification questions and claims from industrial customers.
• Actively contribute to improvement trajectories and play a key role in the rollout of a new ERP system and further automation.
• Manage the QC responsible and report to the Director QA, R&D & Operations.
• Take on operational QC tasks, such as laboratory analyses and checking batches/samples, especially at the new site.

What they ask

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Bio-engineer, Food Technology, Chemistry...).
• Relevant work experience in a quality environment (QA/QC) within the food industry.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
