As a traffic controller, you will work outdoors at various project locations. The exact location will depend on the planning and your availability. You will usually travel from home to the location. You will work in changing teams, which makes the work varied.
What you will do.
- Ensure safe and smooth traffic flow
- Give clear instructions
- Maintain an overview and react quickly to changes
- Guarantee safety for road users and colleagues
- Start with a briefing and instructions on site
- Coordinate with the team
- Conclude with a short debriefing
What they ask
- Speak good Dutch for communication with road users, colleagues, and safety instructions
- Be willing to follow a 3-day training and obtain the certificate
- Be able to apply for a VOG (Certificate of Conduct)
- A driver's license is a plus
Profile
- You will work outdoors at various locations, such as intersections, road works, events, parking lots, and detours.
- Opportunity to follow a 3-day training and pass the exam for the traffic controller certificate.
- Opportunity to obtain VCA and BRL 9101 certificates at the organization's expense.
- Career growth opportunities towards coordinator or roles with additional certifications after approximately 2 years.
