Night Care Worker

GelderlandHybrid36 hours/week<3months

While most people sleep, you make a difference. In the quiet of the night, you maintain an overview, reassure when unrest arises, and help clients feel safe again. No night is the same, which provides variety, independence, and the opportunity to give genuine attention.

What you do

As a supervisor, caregiver, or nurse during the night, you are there for people with an intellectual disability, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), and/or a physical disability. You ensure peace, safety, and a sense of trust.

  • Helping clients who cannot sleep and need a listening ear.
  • Providing support with personal care.
  • Administering medication.
  • Acting quickly in case of unexpected care needs.

You work independently and are given a lot of responsibility, but you can always rely on the night care coordinator for support.

Profile

You will be part of a dedicated team of centralists, supervisors, caregivers, and nurses. Depending on the location, you will work independently or with colleagues during the night shift. There are two night care teams within the organization:

  • a team for clients with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and/or a physical disability;
  • a team for clients with a severe intellectual or multiple disability (EVB/EMB).

Together, we will determine which target group suits you best.

What they ask

  • A completed MBO level 3 or 4 education, such as Caregiver IG, Social Work (MZ), or Nursing.
  • Willingness to work night shifts.
