The supervisor of cables and pipelines is part of a team responsible for the management and supervision of work in public spaces. In this role, the employee performs structural supervisory tasks within the regular execution of municipal duties in the field of cables and pipelines.
What you will do.
- On behalf of a government organization, supervise the work of utility companies and contractors on cables and pipelines in public spaces.
- Perform pre- and final inspections and check whether work is carried out in accordance with the permits granted and applicable regulations, including the General Regulation on Underground Infrastructure (AVOI).
- Identify deviations, address executing parties about unsafe situations, and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
- Record and administratively process findings, controls, deviations, and follow-up actions within the applicable municipal processes and systems.
- Participate in the daily work distribution and coordination with the permit issuer and other supervisors, jointly determining priorities and planning supervisory activities.
- Act as a fixed point of contact from the supervisory organization for executing parties within the assigned work area.

What they ask
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience as a supervisor of cables and pipelines/underground infrastructure
- Demonstrable work experience as a supervisor with the construction of heat networks
- In possession of a valid VCA-VOL certificate, with indicated validity date
Preferences.
- Minimum 4 years of demonstrable work experience as a supervisor of cables and pipelines/underground infrastructure
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrable work experience as a supervisor of cables and pipelines/underground infrastructure within a municipal organization
- Demonstrable work experience with electrical cables
- Demonstrable work experience with the CROW 500 guideline and CROW guidelines 'Safe working along the road (CROW 96b)'
- A demonstrably completed education in civil engineering, infrastructure technology, or a related technical education at MBO level
- Demonstrable work experience with performing pre- and final inspections and checking whether work is carried out in accordance with the permits granted and applicable regulations
