Social Housing Agent
Renting a home is more than just handing over a key. It is the moment someone makes a new start. As a social housing agent, you ensure that this process runs smoothly; for both the departing and the new tenant. We are looking for a social housing agent who enjoys working independently, easily makes contact, and likes to bring different interests together. Someone who knows what needs to be done, but also looks at what can be improved.
What you will do. As a social housing agent, you are responsible for the execution of the rental and mutation process. You maintain an overview, easily switch between different activities, and ensure that agreements are met. Specifically, you will:
- perform pre- and final inspections and deliver homes
- guide viewings and advise home seekers
- advertise homes via the housing allocation system and allocate homes based on 'appropriate allocation'
- maintain contact with departing and new tenants
- meticulously complete rental agreements and mutation files
- guide special situations, such as urgent requests and the housing of various target groups
- timely signal impending vacancies and take action
- contribute to improving the rental and mutation process
- represent the housing corporation at Owners' Association (VvE) meetings for a portion of its property
Profile
You get energy from contact with people and from a rental process that runs smoothly. You are customer-oriented, but also know when to be clear. You can handle different interests and situations well and are not easily deterred. You work independently, maintain an overview, and take responsibility for your own activities. At the same time, you easily reach out to colleagues when needed. You are curious and enjoy thinking about how services can be improved.
