This assignment involves the replacement of a permanent employee within a public sector organization. You will be responsible for ongoing core activities.
What you do
- Representing the interests of management and maintenance in various projects and programs
- Involved in the different phases of projects and developments
- Responsible for the management of roads, traffic light installations, and public lighting
- Ensuring that area changes are identified and their transfer to management and maintenance proceeds smoothly
- Jointly responsible with colleagues for the integrated multi-year maintenance planning
- Ensuring this planning is adjusted annually and translating it into annual and multi-year maintenance programs and multi-year investments
- Coordinating with various colleagues from teams within the Spatial process chain

- Affinity with other fields such as greenery, cables and pipelines
- Enjoys collaborating on urban challenges and connecting different disciplines and project phases
- Ensures an integrated product is delivered in collaboration with colleagues
- Translates collected information into integrated advice for internal stakeholders
- Proficient in written and verbal communication
- Maintains a network of colleagues and knowledge institutions
- Has a well-developed sense of responsibility and can function in a work environment with sometimes conflicting interests
What they ask
- Demonstrably completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a Civil Engineering Advisor in the past 10 years
- Demonstrable work experience in drafting and adjusting multi-year maintenance plans and multi-year investment plans
Preferences.
- Demonstrably completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience as a civil engineering advisor within a similar public sector organization (up to 20,000 inhabitants)
- Demonstrable work experience with process management in civil engineering from planning phase to delivery
- Demonstrable work experience in drafting advice for administrators and executives
