As an Intelligence lecturer in the field of analysis, you contribute to the execution, development, and implementation of education. Your goal is to train students to become competent (case) analysts for information organizations or investigative services.
What you will do.
- Provide and develop competency-based education for operational specialists.
- Administer exams as an examiner.
- Coordinate the (further) development, realization, and implementation of new educational programs and packages.
- Inventory training needs of organizational units and translate these into educational programs.
- Monitor the coherence of educational programs within established frameworks.
- Evaluate results and advise on the effectiveness of the training.
- Translate identified improvements from a didactic perspective into new educational methods/course packages and new teaching materials, considering different target groups.
- Promote and assess the professionalism of colleagues as a mentor.

You are able to connect the analysis process with the overall intelligence process and are aware of relevant NIA themes, which you can translate into education. Proactivity and a development-oriented approach characterize you. You keep your knowledge and skills up to date, including new tools for information provision. A broad societal orientation is a must.

- HBO (bachelor) working and thinking level, preferably a degree in case or security analysis.
- Preferably, experience in performing tactical and operational case or security analysis.
- Preferably, experience in providing education and/or training.
- The Pedagogical Didactic Certificate (PDG)/Basic Teaching Qualification (BKO) or the willingness to obtain it.
