Programme Manager Agile Automation
The Agile program manager for Automation structures, steers, and coordinates activities aimed at digitizing and automating back-end services, while ensuring their compliance with architecture and security standards. He or she orchestrates the work of a multidisciplinary team and collaborates closely with relevant stakeholders. The scope covers the entire lifecycle of initiatives: design, analysis, development, implementation, and maintenance.
The objective is to improve the efficiency, interoperability, security, modularity, and automation of programs supporting the core activities of a public organization. As several projects and initiatives are already underway, the mission also involves organizing and prioritizing them, clarifying their dependencies, and evaluating their contribution to strategic ambitions, in line with the defined governance.
What you do
- Coordinate, sequence, and distribute work within the team.
- Structure, process, and integrate unplanned work and BAU activities.
- Provide substantive support to the team and foster increased autonomy.
- Resolve issues related to the orchestration of work among different team members.
- Represent the team in exchanges with other teams and in alignment with the PMO, especially during program increments.
- Prepare and facilitate the Automation steering group.
- Implement pragmatic and adapted governance: rituals, reporting, risk monitoring, and dependency management.
- Ensure alignment with the organization's roadmap and strategic priorities.
- Coordinate involved stakeholders and ensure fluid communication with management.
- Produce progress tracking deliverables.
- Contribute hands-on when necessary to unblock situations and advance initiatives.
Profile
- Confirmed experience in program management in a public or complex environment.
- Solid experience with Agile collaboration models in medium or small structures.
- Expertise in multi-project steering, governance, reporting, and risk management.
- Good command of program & project management, including scoping, planning, coordination, interdependence management, and monitoring of expected benefits.
- Experience in people management in a project context without a direct hierarchical link.
- Ability to coach and develop junior profiles.
- Aptitude to quickly understand the context, challenges, dependencies, and criticality of subjects.
- Ability to combine conceptual thinking with concrete execution, with pragmatism and versatility.
- Excellent organizational, relational, and communication skills; team spirit essential.
- Good understanding of issues related to back-end services and their automation.
- Very good command of French and Dutch.
