As an ICT / Computer Science Teacher, you guide students in the upper years of havo and vwo towards their final exams. You combine quality education with personal attention in a small-scale school environment. You make a real difference for young people who need extra support through your knowledge, structure, and pedagogical qualities.
What you do
- Provide Computer Science lessons in the upper years
- Guide students with learning objectives and the examination program
- Prepare for tests and examinations
- Monitor and stimulate study progress
- Create a safe, predictable, and structured learning environment
- Coordinate with colleagues and other involved professionals
- Contribute to a successful completion of the exam
What they ask
- Preferably, a first-degree teaching qualification for Computer Science or a suitable related field
- A second-degree qualification is negotiable, provided you can demonstrably teach independently and guide students at havo and vwo upper-level towards the exam
- Recent and relevant experience as a teacher and demonstrable knowledge and experience within ICT/Computer Science
- Experience with or affinity for students who need extra support
- Strong pedagogical skills and able to offer clarity, structure
- Able to work independently and collaborate well within a multidisciplinary school team
