Within a Spatial Design and Realization department, in the Realization Team, a Civil Engineering Work Preparer is sought.
- You play an important role in the realization of infrastructural projects.
- Sustainability themes such as circularity and climate adaptation, and thus innovation, are of great importance.
- You work in a department with urban planners, project leaders, designers, directors, asset managers, and advisors on public spaces.

What you do
- As a work preparer, you are responsible for preparing civil engineering works.
- Stakeholder participation is essential.
- Your focus is on civil engineering work preparation.
- Work project-based within the project team.
- Collaborate closely with the project leader, public space designer, and various asset managers/advisors.
- Ensure detailed coordination between various disciplines.
- Be responsible for the tendering process.
- Maintain contact with external engineering firms when outsourcing services and act as the primary point of contact.
- Actively contribute to realizing ambitions based on your talents.
What they ask
- A completed MBO or HBO degree in civil engineering, or other relevant education combined with work experience (focused on reconstruction or redevelopment projects).
- Knowledge of civil engineering.
- Familiarity with (RAW) specifications.
- Experience in calculating and familiarity with various contract forms.
- Experience with technical drawing programs.
- Ability to work project-based and customer-oriented.
- Ability to work independently.
- Extensive relevant practical knowledge and experience.
- Strong in planning and organizing, but also able to easily switch to ad-hoc activities.
- Clear and concise communication.
- An enthusiastic and customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently, structured, and organized.
- Proactive and enjoys collaborating.
- Good command of the Dutch language (minimum B2 level) in speech and writing for drafting specifications and other documents.
