A construction engineer is responsible for calculating and designing the complete main load-bearing structure of buildings. In this role, strong analytical and technical insight is central, combined with the ability to think strategically. You are responsible for calculating, designing, and optimizing constructions according to technical standards.
What you will do.
- Critically assess provided designs to ensure structural efficiency and feasibility.
- Develop the optimal construction solution within a precast concrete concept.
- Supervise the correct execution of structural principles on the construction site.
- Optimize constructions through smart design adjustments to improve costs, material usage, and sustainability.
- Perform calculations and drawing work for concrete and steel structures, including foundations and details, according to applicable standards.
- Collaborate with project teams and external partners, such as work planners, project managers, and suppliers, to ensure constructive solutions.
Profile
- University level of thinking and working (Civil Engineering or Architecture).
- Knowledge of concrete and steel structures and applicable standards.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and technical insight.
- Ability to think strategically and optimize.
- Decisiveness and problem-solving ability.
- Independent and proactive work attitude.
