Within a regional team of an organization focused on water infrastructure, a communicative and driven project leader is sought for the Design & Construction department. The project leader is a central figure who ensures projects run smoothly in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You contribute to the daily extraction, purification, and delivery of one billion liters of top-quality drinking water.
The organization possesses extensive knowledge of water infrastructure and takes the lead role in projects.
What you do
- You independently manage varied projects, such as renovations, reconstructions, and the construction of new main pipelines
- You are ultimately responsible for projects within a specific work area
- You make optimal use of the expertise of internal engineers
- You collaborate with various internal departments and external parties and play a leading role in communication
- You regularly consult with professionals such as network operators, initiators, government agencies
- You ensure scope definition, project evaluations, budget requests, meeting deadlines, correct recording in systems, and financial administration
- Project control on aspects of time, budget, risks, quality
- Actively collaborate with internal and external professionals on projects
- Analyze project risks, set preconditions, and adjust in a timely manner
- Prepare and conduct meetings with internal and external parties
- Record financial project information in systems

What they ask
- Minimum MBO 4 diploma
- Minimum of three years of work experience with projects
Preferences.
- HBO working and thinking level is a plus
- Work experience with projects (preferably Prince2)
- Relevant work experience and affinity with the infrastructure sector and SAP is desirable
