(Coordinating) Supervisor EMB
You will work in a dedicated team of 12 colleagues in a small-scale residential facility on the first floor. Nine residents with severe multiple disabilities, often combined with auditory and/or visual impairments, live here. The residents are between 40 and 70 years old and are aging. Each resident has their own care needs and capabilities. Work is integrated (living and day activities) and close collaboration is maintained with other residences within a day center.
You are part of the daily lives of the residents, weekdays and weekends.
What you will do.
- You start your shift at the residence and then provide day activities at the residence or the day center
- You organize activities that suit the residents and challenge them
- You work according to the LACCS principles, BIM
- You follow training focused on guiding residents with visual and auditory impairments
- You get to know the residents well and recognize even the smallest signals
- You ensure a safe and trusted environment
- You identify needs and respond to what residents require
- You share insights during monthly meetings to improve care
- You also work in the evenings and on weekends

- You sense what they need and adapt your guidance accordingly

- You offer appropriate support with warmth, care
- You are patient, proactive, and work well in a team
- As a coordinating supervisor, you maintain an overview, provide direction to the team, and communicate clearly
What they ask
- A completed MBO-3 (supervisor) or MBO-4/HBO (coordinating supervisor) degree in Care and Welfare
- Interest or experience in working with residents with severe multiple disabilities or aging residents
- Affinity with day activities
- Knowledge and expertise regarding auditory and/or visual impairments is preferred
